World of Pain

For those of you who know me, this is a scene from my favorite movie ever-"The Big Lebowski". I am always open to a night of white russians and a showing of this great film. This is the classic scene where Walter threatens Smokey to "mark it zero" or else he will "enter a world of pain". Yes he is actually pulling a gun over a bowling match because as Walter says, "it's a league game".

The Man in Black

Ever since "Walk the Line" came out last year I have been a big Johnny Cash fan. I usually listen to him every day when I am illustrating/creating art. So this is a first of many celebrity/musician illustrations.

Riding Lawnmower

Why does a riding lawnmower have headlights. What did he runover that is bleading? Is this symbolic?

These are just of the few questions I have been asked/have asked myself... I don't know you tell me. I just found a picture of a guy on a riding lawnmower and went with it.

Rodeo

I don't know what it is but I really like illustrating horses so expect to see a lot more of them. Also the golden color is appealing to me so expect to see more of that too.

Magnolia Steakhouse

This steak restaruant is located down the block from where I live. Since I drive by it everyday I finally decided to illustrate it. I have never eaten here, but I hope to asap.

Lance

One of the great icons in sports and culture today, Lance Armstrong.

Cowboy Bush

I am trying to build my portfolio of celebrities/political figures for future editorial work so I started with the current President. It's a picture of Bush putting on a cowboy hat from a press conference, and in no way reflects my personal/political views of the guy.

Waterfront Property

One of my new "Suburban Sprawl" pieces. I hope to do a lot more in this style.
